Welcome to the Interfaith Job Search Network!

We are a faith-based provider of education and support for:

1) People currently in a job search process, who have received little or no outplacement assistance from a previous employer.

2) People who are currently bogged down in their job search and could re-energize their job search journey with the assistance of a local group.

3) People who are currently employed who believe that their current job is at risk and would like to prepare for a future job transition before it happens!

Currently our membership is made of 40+ Faith Communities in Northern Illinois.

We offer the following services to those Faith Communities participating in the network:

1) Jobs Listing:

We offer an e-mail broadcast of a "Jobs Listing", several times per month, to member churches for posting on a bulletin board within your Faith Community.

2) Position Descriptions:

We regularly receive current position descriptions for positions throughout Illinois and the Midwest and make them available for download at this website.

3) Lay Leadership Teams Training:

We offer regular training and idea sharing sessions for the Lay Leaders of local Career Transition Ministries within member Faith Communities.

4) Seminar Series:

We offer a number of seminars to support a member's job search.

5) Education and Fellowship Events:

Several times a calendar quarter, we offer invitations to education and fellowship events for people in career transition.
